What is x402? It is a way for a web request to ask for payment: the server answers HTTP 402 with a price, the client pays and retries. Payzilla verifies the payment and records it in a ledger.
1. Tour the demo dashboard
This is a design preview with invented sample data. It makes no network calls and shows nothing from a real account.
- Open the demo dashboard.
- Select a payment in the list to see its timeline and its ledger entries.
- Look at the statuses, such as Authorized, Captured and Final, and check that each payment shows a single status.
- Open the routing rules and the “Try a payment” panel, then the wallets and gas settings, to see who pays the network fee in each case.
2. Check a real devnet payment yourself
One x402 payment ran on the Solana devnet test network with 0.002 test USDC. You do not need to trust us: the record is public.
- Open the transaction in Solana Explorer and confirm the cluster says devnet.
- Check the amount is 0.002 and the status is finalized.
- Find the memo and compare it with the intent id on the home page. The memo is what ties the transaction to its record.
Open on Solana Explorer (opens in a new tab)
Devnet is a test network and can be reset. If Explorer does not find the transaction, tell us and we will replace it.
3. Ask for a walkthrough and test tokens
For a hands-on session, email us. We walk you through the preview and arrange test-token access. We agree the details by email.
- Say who you are: an API or MCP seller, a merchant with card volume, or an agent builder.
- Say what you would like to try, for example charging per call, or paying from an agent’s wallet.

What to know first
- Test tokens have no monetary value. Do not send real funds to any address you see here.
- Payzilla does not need your private key or seed phrase to try the preview. If anyone asks you for one, do not send it.
- No card connector is live and the preview does no real-money settlement.
- Test mode is free. Pilot pricing (v0) is a flat fee per settled payment, with the first 1,000 a month free. See the Pricing page. Nothing is charged during the devnet preview.
- This is an early preview. Features can change and devnet can be reset.
- Payzilla is software, not a bank. We do not hold funds, and we claim no licences or certifications.
